You are invited to participate in a research project for our new game Untangled III. This project is a follow-up after the success of our games Untangled and Untangled II: Unbound. This is a research project being conducted by Dr. Gayatri Mehta and her research team at the University of North Texas. The estimated time for participation can range from approximately 3-5 minutes to 1+ hours depending upon if the participant wishes to continue playing the game. Your participation is voluntary. You may refuse to continue the game or exit the game at any time without penalty. Untangled is a computer game that has been developed to discover algorithms by making use of human intuition and the ability to recognize patterns and opportunities even in complex problems. By playing this game, you contribute toward the advancement of next generation portable/wearable devices critical to health, safety and security, personal multimedia, and aerospace. While you have fun arranging visually appealing graphs, you are solving the important scientific problem of mapping/placement of logic blocks. So go ahead, register an account for yourself and start playing! Be sure to check out the tutorials first; the game can be challenging, but keep at it! You will pick up the process in no time.

    BENEFITS
You will receive no direct benefits from participating in this research study. However, your responses may help us learn more about new algorithms for low power architectures for portable devices.

    RISKS
There are no foreseeable risks involved in participating in this study other than those encountered in day-to-day life.

    CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidentiality will be maintained to the degree possible given the technology and practices used by the online survey company. Your participation in this online survey involves risks to confidentiality similar to a person's everyday use of the internet.
